Small decisions...

We drove to Osage Beach yesterday to the new Home Depot. The painting fiasco continues as the Springfield Home Depot still has not restocked (even though we've been told they've restocked twice) the base paint needed to finish our trim. We've driven to Springfield 3 times now to get the paint right. We gave up and went to the HD in Osage Beach. While there we found the perfect shower/bathtub fixtures so I'm happy.

Richard and Pa worked on leveling the area to the east of the house. The recent rains have shown where water pools and makes mud pits, so it is something that needs to be addressed. In addition, they used the tractor to push down the ashes of the burn pile, leaving nitrogen rich soil all over!

We'll be planting grass for erosion control.
