Move-in Day! Yes, we made plans to rent the biggest U-Haul we could find, load it up and then empty it into my new shed. We figured 2-3 trips. First...we emptied the 10 X 20 unit that was filled with boxes. Due to Mom's watch not being set to Daylight Savings Time we thought we still had time before dinner to do another load. We were all tired but sent Mom off to pick up pizzas and Becky, Pa and I took most of the boxes out of the 10 X 20 unit that was filled mostly with furniture. Turns out it was an hour later than we thought! We dragged home, ate pizzas and decided NOT to empty the truck until the next morning! Besides, it was raining.

I didn't take any pictures this day - we unloaded the boxes, drove back to the unit and with much struggle, 2 handtrucks and 2 dollies, we emptied the second unit. It took us until 12:00 noon to unload the rest of the stuff into the shed. The rain started and we all took a few days off to take a much needed break.
By the way - we've still not emptied the small trailer or the 4Runner! We've had rain and severe thunderstorms the last few days and no sense getting wet and muddy.
This is a 27 foot truck pulled right up to the shed door.
Another photo from a different angle.
In addition, we loaded the trailer and the 4Runner full of small stuff.
Mom and Becky take a break partway through the off-loading into the shed.
I take a break on the mezzanine.
Then I decided a nap was in order! Moving is tough work!
