What was Pa doing while we partied? Well, the bulldozer came to start knocking down carefully selected trees and clearing the land for the septic and the foundation slab for the house. After the dozer left, Pa began cleanup of the are, including some basic leveling and low-limb cutting of trees.

Pa also shopped an auction as he does every Mother's Day...here's the haul he bought for Mom...

Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

The dozer begins work...it took about 45 minutes to clear the area we had mapped for the septic and house.

Pa brings the tractor up after the dozer finished to do a little leveling. More will be done later.

A closer view of the cleared area and the distance from the shed.

Pa low-limb trimmed some of the trees to ease clearance for the trucks that will be passing through as we dig, drill and pour cement.
