Today we went out to see Katie ride the horses. I decided to work on one of my fears. I am afraid of horses. Love watching them, love seeing them do things...but I don't like being near them because of an incident in my childhood.

Anyway....














Katie and Anni ride on Katie's 10 year old Appaloose/Thoroughbred/Arabian named Brego.














I'm talking to and stroking Dutch - Katie's big...big 20 year old Belgian.















Katie works on strength training with Brego by working him in the pond with water resistance exercises.














A perfect jump! I took about 10 pictures of Katie jumping with Brego before I got this perfect shot.













I'm riding Dutch! Well. I'm not actually in control. Katie is holding Dutch's bridle AND a lead rein, so all I had to do is sit there and LOOK like I knew what I was doing.














This is how big Dutch is....the roofline near his head is the roof of the FIRST story on the house.
